Ruby's Clay Studio is a non-profit arts center whose objectives are to promote community appreciation of the ceramic arts and to encourage self-expression and technical and artistic development through exhibitions, classes and the resources provided by a shared learning facility.

Community Bulletin Board

Monthly Meeting Announcements

Monthly Community Meetings are held the last Wednesday of the month at 6:30 PM. The Community meetings are held online via Zoom unless otherwise noted. If you are a studio user and wish to attend an online Monthly Community meeting, and have not received the join link in an email from management, then please contact management.

Manager Announcements: No Manager & Drop-In Hours on Tuesday & Wednesday, Dec. 24th & 25th, and Dec. 31st and Jan. 1st.

Kiln Tech Office Hours are scheduled for the day after the glaze kiln unloads, from 1-2pm. Have questions about how your pots turned out? Call the manager’s line or meet up with the kiln tech in person during the Kiln Tech Office Hours.

The Studio Monitor program gives access to Drop-In participants and students outside of Manager Hours. If you are interested in volunteering to become a Studio Monitor, then please review our program description and email management if you have any questions.

Financial Assistance Applications for awards through the rest of the year are still being accepted. Please submit your applications to management.

Committee Announcements: 2024 Gallery Show Applications are available, and for more information contact the Gallery Committee Chairperson at gallery@rubysclaystudio.org.

Board Announcements:  Board meetings are monthly and are held online via Zoom. Please let management or a Board Member know if you wish to attend.

*Community Firings are for community work produced in the studio only. The studio does not provide personal private firings for work created outside of the studio


Code of Conduct: Ruby’s has a Code of Conduct we expect all studio users to abide by. Please review the Code of Conduct and report any issues you may have to Management.


Rental Fees

NOTICE: Effective March 1st, 2024

If you are interested in becoming a Locker Holder please email management your email address and phone number to be added to the waitlist. Please note, the current wait is five years long.

Full Spaces – $405 per month, or $395 with 1 hour of Volunteer Credit

Half Spaces – $202.50 per month, or $192.50 with 1 hour of Volunteer Credit

Lockers – $175 per month, or $165 with 1 hour of Volunteer Credit

Rental Shelves – $37.75 monthly (not eligible for Volunteer Credit)

Late Fee –$15.00 due for rental payments made after the 10th of the month


Studio Firing Fees

The studio doesn't provide personal firing services for non-studio users. If you are a school or other non-profit organization looking for firing services, please see our Community Outreach page.

Volunteer Credit Tasks

Can you help Ruby’s with the any of the following tasks?

Earn credit off your monthly rent on any of these tasks as well as our sincere gratitude!

1. Loading and unloading the electric kiln for our outreach firings, once a month.

2. Assist with the monthly purge of the damp room.

3. Clean bats
